The Department of Economics has a number of seminar series:

Departmental Seminars

These are general interest seminars, given by senior members of staff and visitors.

Specialised Seminars

The department also has seven seminar series for special lines of research: , Financial Economics, Applied Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics and Microeconomics:Theory and Experiments.                  Members of staff, PhD students and visitors give these seminars.

Public Defence of Theses

PhD and Licentiate theses are defended in public.
