The Department of Economics has a number of seminar series:

Departmental Seminars

These are general interest seminars, given by senior members of staff and visitors.

Specialised Seminars

The department also has seven seminar series for special lines of research: Econometrics, Financial Economics, Health, Labour and Family Economics, International Economics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Political Economics. Members of staff, PhD students and visitors give these seminars.

Public Defence of Theses

PhD and Licentiate theses are defended in public.

The seminars in general take place at the following times and places, though exceptions do occur.
