The 6th Nordic Conference on Behavioral and
Experimental Economics will be held at the School of Economics and Management in Lund,
Sweden, 28-29 October 2011. The conference is organized by the Arne Ryde Foundation in
cooperation with the Department of Economics, Lund University.
The scientific program consists of two keynote lectures and of presentations of
contributed papers.

Call for papers
l Researchers within the broad field of behavioral and experimental
economics are encouraged to submit their work. Researchers from the Nordic countries are
especially encouraged to participate, although we welcome submissions from around the
world.
To submit, click on "Submit Application" in the left panel and fill in
the form. Thus, as you will see, applications take the form of (extended) abstracts.
The deadline for submissions
is August 15, 2011.
Notification of acceptance will be given by September 1, 2011.

Payments
l There is no conference fee.
Participants are expected to pay for their accommodation and travel costs.
Food and drinks at the reception, two lunches, coffee at breaks, and the conference
dinner will be paid for by the Arne Ryde Foundation.
l A limited fund for accommodation and travel grants
is available to participants who lack other funding. In particular, PhD-students
presenting papers can expect to receive support. Participants who wish to apply for funds
should inform the local organizers when submitting papers or applications for
participation.
To and from Lund
Participants are expected to make their own travel and
hotel arrangements. Unless otherwise notified, the organizers expect
participants to arrive in Lund in the evening Thursday 27 October or early in the morning
the day after: The conference starts at 09.30 on Friday 28 October. Participants are
expected to depart no earlier than in the late afternoon Saturday 29.

Accommodation
The organizers have blockbooked 44 rooms at two hotels
between Thursday 27 and Saturday 29 October. The rooms are available till mid-September.
The prices of the rooms range from about 1175 SEK to about 1645 SEK per night for a single
room.

Format
The keynote lectures will be given in plenum.
The rooms are equipped to handle most forms of presentation.
The conference language is English.
Guidelines for parallel sessions:
Each presenter has 20 minutes to present his/her paper and an additional five
minutes for discussion.
The last presenter in each session is chairperson.
