There are no
lecture notes, but slides to the lectures can be
downloaded. These slides may be slightly updated during the course. A final
version is now available.

Alternatively you can use the 4th edition
of the same book with the sligthly changed title “Industrial Organization:
contemporary theory and empirical applications” (published 2008 by Blackwell
Publishing).
Group assignment
The group assignment is a voluntary task, in which
you can earn ten percent of the total points (credits) on the course. The purpose is to apply theoretical
tools to a real world phenomenon. Two occassions for each group are planned,
one where the assignment is introduced and one where the groups presents their
work. If you want to participate you
have to come to both scheduled occasions for the seminars (denoted as “Övning”
in the time schedule). Thus, to earn any points on the group assignment it is
obligatory that you are present on these seminars and belong to a group.
Credits earned on the group assignment are only valid on the ordinary exam and
the first re-examination.
Examination
- Written examination at the end of the
course. (For exact dates see time table.) Re-examination about one month later.
- No calculators will be permitted during the
examination.
- No examination will be given outside
