Prerequisites
Master Programmes managed by the Department of Economics
Requirements
The basic requirement for admission to any Master Programme is that the applicant has successfully
completed a Bachelor degree (i.e. a degree of at least 3 years, equivalent to 180 ECTS credit points) and
also has a proven knowledge of the English language.
In addition, there are specific requirements for different programmes (see below). Please make sure that you are aware
of, and fulfil, these prerequisites before you submit your application. The prerequisites for each programme must be strictly fulfilled.
Qualifications pending - bachelor degree during the spring 2013
Applicants that are currently studying for a Bachelor degree and who will complete this
degree during the spring term 2013, can still submit an application.
In this case, students must submit official
certified documentation from their home university showing their current academic records and the share of their
current studies that have
been successfully completed at the time of application, and an official certificate stating the date by which
the bachelor degree is
expected to be completed. One should also submit a certificate stating which courses that are supposed to be completed before
Bachelor degree is awarded, i.e. a certificate that includes on-going courses, and courses that have not yet commenced, but which you will
complete.
Please note, you must be awarded your degree, and
official documents must be presented, before you commence the master programme. The documents should be in the
original language, and in officially certified translations into Swedish, English, French or German, if the documents are
issued in any other language than the Scandinavian languages.
If your degree diploma is not available when the programme commences, you will not be able to start the programme.
