for prospective and admitted master students at the Department of Economics
Prospective students are advised to
familiarise themselves with the information provided on-line. This is a requirement for students
that are admitted to any of the programmes administrated by the Department of Economics.
Inquires
The Programme Coordinator at the Department of Economics is available for programme specific questions,
or for questions specific to the department such as courses, examiniations, degree requirements, practical matters et cetera.
For information that is common for all master students at Lund University (i.e. information that is not specific for master students at the
Department of Economics), there is also a special Master Coordinator at Lund University available for questions.
For application questions regarding English proficiency and degree requirements one must address the Admission Office at Lund University.
Conditional acceptance
If your admission to a master programme administrated by the Department of Economics is conditional (stated on your Letter of
Admission in that case), this means that you have to present official university documents stating that you fulfil all requirements for
admission. Those documents must be presented before the programme commences, and they should be presented to the Master
Programme Coordinator at the Department of Economics.
In general, conditional acceptance implies that you have to present official degree documents and official transcript of records.
The documents should be in the original language, and in officially certified translations into Swedish, English, French or
German, if the documents are issued in any other language than the Scandinavian languages.
Please note: no documents should be sent to us, but remember to bring them with you to Lund.

Programme and course registration
All master students should submit an Enrolment Form. Please note,
only accepted students (see your Letter of Admission) should complete the form. In addition,
before the term commences, all students must also register for their respective programme and courses. See information below.

Information that is common for all master students at Lund University is provided by the Lund University International
Office. This includes information about compulsory pre-registration, accommodation, Arrival Day, introduction weeks,
STiL account, insurance, pre-arrival information, living costs, residence permit, et cetera.
Admitted students must make sure that they are familiar with this information.
