Research

There is a long tradition of research at the Department of Economics, and the department has been the home of distinguished scholars such as, most prominently, Knut Wicksell. Currently there is research in a number of areas with several specializations paralleling recommended paths for undergraduate study The department has hosted a number of high-profile international conferences thanks to the support from the Arne Ryde Foundation which is tied to the department.
